Meet The Doctors

 


Dr. Craig J. Farrell

D.D.S.

Dr. Craig Farrell was born and raised in Middlefield where he has had the privilege of improving the dental health of the community for the past 13 years.  He took over the practice from his father who practiced dentistry for 46 years in Middlefield.  Dr. Farrell’s sister is also a dentist who specializes in pediatrics.

Since graduating from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2001, Dr. Farrell completed post-graduate studies at the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida  where he learned the technical, behavioral, and business aspects of a dental practice focused on Comprehensive Care.  He participates in a technical study club in Bozeman, Montana twice a year to further expand the fundamentals taught at the Pankey Institute.

Dr. Farrell is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Northeastern Ohio Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Cleveland Academy of Advanced Dental Education.  He served as President of the Northeastern Ohio Dental Society in 2006.

Dr. Farrell lives in Auburn Township with his wife and 2 children.  In his spare time, he enjoys golf, downhill skiing, and spending time with his family.


Dr. Kristina F. Franek

D.D.S.

Dr. Kristina Franek was raised in northern Virginia and studied in Washington, DC. She received her B.S. in Biology at American University and M.S. in Physiology & Biophysics at Georgetown University before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Howard University College of Dentistry in 2020. During dental school, Dr. Franek participated in many local and far outreach events. Her favorite experiences were in Jamaica and the Seneca Nation Indian reservation in Irving, NY. Seeing the impact of dentistry in the communities led to her passion for providing care to the underserved. Upon graduation, Dr. Franek completed a General Practice Residency at the UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside Dental Center in Pittsburgh, PA, where she enjoyed her rotations at a free dental clinic. Since residency, Dr. Franek has been practicing in a public health clinic in Erie, PA. Dr. Franek and her husband, who is a native to the NE Ohio area, recently built a house on his parent’s property. This move brought her to the Middlefield area, where she plans to continue improving the health of the community.

 Dr. Franek is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association and Greater Cleveland Dental Society. During her free time, Dr. Franek enjoys biking, paddle boarding, cross country skiing, playing the ukulele, board games and CrossFit with her husband.
